31-year old Nigerian, John Olumba is a running for mayor of the
city of Detroit in Michigan. He is a lawyer, an
ordained pastor and he is currently an Independent member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 3.
According to wikipedia, he is the first Nigerian elected to a state
office in Michigan history. His dad is from Owerri in Imo State,
Nigeria.
