The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge only celebrated their second wedding anniversary yesterday and with their first child on the way.

Kate may only be 31, and William 30, but a researcher and artist have conjured up what the duo could look like aged 81 and 80.

Working with Nikolett Mérész for MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, researcher and artist Nickolay Lamm created an artistic interpretation of how the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might age. The images depict what Kate and William could look like in 50 years, and from wrinkles and saggy skin to frown lines and grey hair, the results are staggeringly realistic.

The family of late Hip hop star, Goldie Harvey will tomorrow May 1st 2013 auction all her belongings at Goldie’s house located at 30B, Ologunkutere Street, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi. According to a statement signed by the family representative, Deji Adetayo, he stated that, although the singer did not leave a will, she had had an agreement with her husband, Leonard Harvey to auction her remaining items and the proceeds from the sales would be donated to charity.

Dubai Police add a new Ferrari to its fleet of crime-fighting vehicles, which already boasts a flashy green and white Lamborghini.

The vehicle arrives hot on the heels of a Lamborghini that has already joined the city state's crime-fighting ranks. The car - sporting the green and white of Dubai Police - was unveiled at the foot of the Burj al-Khalifa, the world's tallest building.

It will be used by women police to patrol tourist areas. The introduction of luxury Italian cars to the police force is being seen as a sign of economic recovery in the Gulf emirate where a housing bubble burst in 2008.

In Dubai, petrol is generally cheaper than drinking water, and authorities face significant challenges to curb road accidents caused by speeding.

US Woman, Rosemarie Smead Ordained Catholic Priest In Kentucky, USA (Photos)!

In an emotional ceremony filled with tears and applause, a 70-year-old Kentucky woman was ordained a priest on Saturday as part of a dissident group operating outside of official Roman Catholic Church authority.

Rosemarie Smead was ordained by the dissident group Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests Saturday 27^th April 2013 at a Louisville church. Smead, 70, was raised as a devout Catholic, briefly lived as cloistered nun and has worked as a college professor.

This is the first of such ordination in Louisville by the Women Priests group, which has been holding those services around the world. Smead's service took place in a Protestant sanctuary, St. Andrew's United Church of Christ on Saturday.

 

"It's illegal, but it's valid," Smead told The Courier-Journal. "In order to challenge this law, we have to break it." Roman Catholic canon law restricts the priesthood to baptized men.

Three men from United Arab Emirates were attending the Jenadrivah Heritage & Culture Festival in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. They were forcibly evicted from the festival by Saudi police officers. The grounds for this harsh move? The visitors were too handsome.

 “A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission [for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices] members feared female visitors could fall for them,” a Saudi Arabian newspaper Elaph reported.

One of the FBI's most wanted men has been arrested by police in Nicaragua. Eric Justin Toth, who was sought on child pornography charges, was taken into custody in the northern city of Esteli on Saturday, police said. The FBI said on its website that Toth was a computer "expert ... wanted for allegedly possessing child pornography in Washington, DC".

The former schoolteacher and camp counsellor had been living under an assumed identity in the city since October, said national police chief Aminta Granera. The suspect was transferred to Managua where he was presented to the press ahead of his extradition from the Central American nation.

Boston 'bombers' are brothers from CHECHNYA

One of the Boston bombing suspects is dead and the second is on the loose and said to be 'armed and dangerous' after a dramatic shootout in the suburbs of the city.

SWAT teams surrounded a house in Watertown on Friday morning following a massive rush of police vehicles through the area. 'Suspect 2' is 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, seen on CCTV wearing a white baseball cap, is on the run and reportedly has explosives strapped to his body. 

The terrorist, dubbed 'Suspect 1' by the FBI, has been named as Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26. He died in hospital from gunshot wounds and possible blast injuries after a fierce gun battle rocked the Watertown area hours after a police officer was shot dead at the nearby MIT campus.

Tamerlan reportedly had a bomb strapped to his chest when he was killed while he and his brother robbed a 7-Eleven, tried to steal an SUV and threw explosives at police officers.Dzhokhar Tsarnaev posted online he will 'kill everyone because we killed his brother', according to a dispatcher in Watertown.

A NIGERIAN SENATOR EARNS N29.4M IN A MONTH

A report published by news portal thestreetjournal.com, has put the total monthly remuneration package for each of 109 serving senators of the Federal House of Assembly at N29,479,749. 

The jumbo pay package which if calculated per annum is six times bigger than what is earned by President Barack Obama of the United States, also included are provisions for a N1, 242,122.70 monthly newspapers allowance (which they don’t buy and read) and another N621, 061.37 wardrobe monthly allowance for each of the lawmakers. Below is a breakdown of the total monthly earnings each senator in Nigeria as reported by the news portal.

Basic Salary (BS)  =  N  2,484,245.50
Hardship Allowance:  50% of Basic Salary  =  N  1,242,122.75

A California court is told a woman carried out a horrific attack on her 60-year-old estranged husband after tying him to a bed. She yelled "You deserve it" before severing her estranged husband's penis with a 10-inch kitchen knife.

Catherine Kieu, 50, is accused of drugging the 60-year-old man's tofu dinner with sleeping pills and tying him to a bed before the attack. She allegedly threw the penis into a waste disposal unit.

Audio of the July 11, 2011, incident was captured by a voice-activated recorder hidden in the bedroom, according to prosecutor John Christl. The sound of the waste disposal unit being turned on can be heard, he said.

Dubai police get $550,000 Lamborghini Aventador: world's most expensive patrol car

 

Dubai police have unveiled a modified $550,000 (£360,000) Lamborghini Aventador, capable of speeds up to 217mph and 0-60 in a staggering three seconds.

In a city of boundless 'bling' even the police are now in on the act with the 700-hp vehicle which is thought to be the world's most expensive patrol car. The sports car, painted in green-and-white colors of the Dubai force, will not likely be roaring after law breakers. Instead, it will be mostly dispatched to tourist area.


After buying a Lamborghini, officials said a Ferrari will go on patrol this week. Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai's police chief, said the luxury sports cars are meant to reflect the city's affluent reputation.

Local media reports said the Italian-made Lamborghini Aventador is the crown jewel of a wider upgrade in Dubai police wheels. The force also is adding some American muscle car Camaros.

Lamborghini launched the car this year to celebrate its 50th anniversary and has already sold out of the marque, with several of the vehicles being sold to Britain according to reports.

Dino Melaye Reacts To His Assasination Attempt In Abuja Yesterday

Dino Melaye, the Former House of Reps member and actress Bisi Ibidapo Obe's alleged baby daddy escaped an assassination attempt on his life in Abuja.

He was shot at several times in his car by motorists driving a Golf Car in Abuja City's Central Business District . Luckily his car was bullet-proof and he wasn't hit.

Woman becomes first in the world to fall pregnant after womb transplant

A woman, Derya Sert who underwent the world’s first successful womb transplant is pregnant. The success of her IVF fertility treatment could give hope to thousands of childless women.

Doctors treating the 22-year-old said early test results were ‘consistent with the expected signs of pregnancy’. Mrs Sert was described as a ‘medical miracle’ when she became the first woman in the world to have a successful womb transplant, from a dead donor, in August 2011.

Since then other women have also been given a womb transplant, but Mrs Sert is the first to become pregnant. Doctors in Antalya, Turkey, waited for 18 months before implanting an embryo into the transplanted womb, to give the pregnancy the greatest possible chance of survival.

However, Mrs Sert still faces a high risk of miscarriage and other complications in the early stages of pregnancy. There is also a chance of birth defects linked to the immune-suppressing drugs used in transplants.

Mrs Sert was born without a womb, a rare condition which affects around one in 5,000 women. But her ovaries were healthy and she produced eggs, which doctors harvested before the womb transplant to create embryos fertilised with sperm from her husband Mustafa.

Lady Gaga is reportedly paying for a fan's hip replacement surgery and has also given her 24-karat gold plated wheel chair.

The 27-year-old singer who is just back on her feet after emergency surgery for a "labral tear" to her right hip, has reached out to a Twitter follower called Emma C, 19, and is paying for her to meet the same doctors, surgeons and specialists who treated her in New York, the Mirror reported.

Emma, from Wisconsin, wrote online, "Gaga reached out to me and is hooking me up with her team that did her surgery in NYC as I have been needing a hip replacement for quite some time."

She added "We're planning on flying out this weekend, all expenses paid, for a consult. The gesture is absolutely incredible... I broke down sobbing. Words can't describe how incredibly Blessed I am."

Pot bellies are good for women's bones: But men can't say the same for beer guts

At last, some good news for women whose waistlines wobble. Females with pot bellies and muffin tops are less likely to break bones than those with perfectly toned tums, research has found. 

Men, however, can’t take similar solace in their beer bellies, as the link between waist size and bone strength was apparent only for females. Researchers tracked the health of more than 1,000 men and women aged 50-plus for an average of five years. During that time, 19 of the men and 107 of the women broke a bone.

Factoring in the amount of abdominal fat revealed a link between big bellies and breaks in the women. Specifically, the 25 per cent of women with fattest middles were 40 per cent less likely to have broken a bone than those with the flattest midriffs, the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology reports.

The researchers, from Sydney’s Garvan Institute of Medical Research, said the benefit could be due to the extra force placed on bones strengthening them. Fat can also provide valuable padding if an individual falls. However, they believe the most likely explanation involves the female sex hormone oestrogen.

How Long Can You Wait For A Girl To Say Yes To Your Proposal?

I met this girl late last year and my intention was made known to her. She told me that she has a boyfriend and that i should give her time to think over it.

Its getting to four months and she is yet to give me a reply. The funny thing is that her family assumes we are already dating and same goes for my own family. Obviously I love her with my whole heart and am willing to settle down with her.

Indonesian villagers build world’s longest bicycle at 44ft

A 44ft bicycle has been created by Indonesian villagers out of rusting iron pipe. It seats just one person and was hand crafted out of 84 feet of piping in Blawe village, Kediri, in East Java.

The bicycle has been officially recorded by the Indonesian Record Museum after it beat the previous holder by eight feet.

But despite breaking the Indonesian title, this effort has a long way to go before it beats the world record. 

The longest true bicycle, that is one with only two wheels and no stabilizers, was 35.79 m (117 ft 5 in) long and was built by members of the Mijl Van Mares Werkploeg (Netherlands) in Maarheeze, Netherlands, on 5 August 2011. The bicycle was operated by two people, one steering at the front and one pedalling at the back.

The 23-year-old Ephy Saint, who currently resides in Kenya, said he would love to be buried in Nigeria where his father, Pete Edochie, comes from.
