Penis Cutting: Wife yelled "You deserve it" before brutally Knifing Husband!

A California court is told a woman carried out a horrific attack on her 60-year-old estranged husband after tying him to a bed. She yelled "You deserve it" before severing her estranged husband's penis with a 10-inch kitchen knife.

Catherine Kieu, 50, is accused of drugging the 60-year-old man's tofu dinner with sleeping pills and tying him to a bed before the attack. She allegedly threw the penis into a waste disposal unit.

Audio of the July 11, 2011, incident was captured by a voice-activated recorder hidden in the bedroom, according to prosecutor John Christl. The sound of the waste disposal unit being turned on can be heard, he said.

The man survived the attack but surgeons were unable to reattach his penis. "All of a sudden I felt a very sharp pain," he said on the first day of the trial on Wednesday. "She murdered me that night." "I will never have a sex life again. My mental state is improving, but it may never be what it was before," he added.

The prosecution claims Ms Kieu was motivated by jealousy, and angry about her husband's plans to divorce her because he was seeing his ex-girlfriend. Her defence team told jurors that her traumatic childhood in war-torn Vietnam caused mental illness that rules out a mayhem or torture conviction.

They also claimed that her husband subjected her to sexual and verbal abuse, and filed for divorce while they continued to live together in his Garden Grove home. The trial is expected to last two weeks.
