It’s no news that Kim Kardashian was in Nigeria for less than 24 hours to co-host the “Love Like A Movie” event, hosted by Darey Art Alade in Lagos on Sunday night.
What seems to be the news is the whooping $500,000 paid the reality TV star to appear at the event for 45 minutes, and on stage for 40 seconds. Yes, accepted Nigeria is rich, but why waste such an amount of money for an individual to appear at an event for just 45 minutes?
Darey, to many of his fans, seems to be a reasonable entertainer and businessman but $500,000 on a reality TV star from America for a 40 seconds appearance is a colossal waste.
Unfortunately, Darey or Kim did not lose a dime in revenue, but those people that paid N100,000 per head for the show need to be channeling their resources to more productive ventures that will benefit mankind.
When will Nigerians learn to be wise with their money?

Kim of Darey had their motives to the mercy of their fans. The fans that paid such amount paid out of their own volition for a particular value, hope they got value for the cash paid. I love Nigerians because they are elastic, nothing is new.
