Entertainment blogger Linda Ikeji published a story earlier today on a Covenant
university student who allegedly committed suicide but she took the
story down almost immediately though it had already gone viral.
Covenant university students were angry with the report so they took to twitter and vented out their anger via #lindalies and it is presently trending on twitter. Their case was simple; The student did not commit suicide but drowned! They branded Linda 'LIAR' and said all sorts....see some of the tweets...
Meanwhile Linda has also reacted to the trend, see her reply and other tweets from CU students after cut...

Wait is dis an apology or what?, who makes and aplolgy and attaches lol and it trends me on it, is she being full of herself or is it bcos is dis country, let her try dis in d States, and she will pay damages from her nose, rubishhhh trend indeed.
Anyway i don't blame d lady, she is gd though and she is just not d only 1, a particar blogger sometime last wk made a viral blog abt d death of a Gov, even without a gd investigation. We really need 2 be sure of thing b4 we upload, it will not only make u popular but destroy u, i think Linda shld take her pride off and make a proper apology.shikina...
Wish dia is a big fine or penalty attached 2 dis behaviour, den lemme see hw pple will wake up and upload rubbish and lies, not neccessarily bcos of Linda sha, buh 2 oda bloggers out dia, pls be sure b4 u upload and readers too confirm b4 u spread.
This will really make Linda popular and trend her well like she said, is been long, so she is actually enjoying. Cheiiii Naija ooo, thank God is here in dis country else it would v been a diff story all together.
